How to create real Deriv &DMT 5 accounts in 2025

First of all, you need to create a real Deriv account before creating a DMT5 (Deriv MetaTrader 5 )account.

✓  Your real Deriv account can be in either fiat or cryptocurrency.

✓  You may only create one fiat currency account in either USD, EUR, GBP, or AUD.

✓  You can create one account for each cryptocurrency. This means you can have a BTC, ETH, LTC, and  USDT account at the same time .

Step 1, you need to go to the Deriv website by following this link and click create a free demo to sign up for free with your email, Google, Facebook, or Apple ID. If you choose to sign up with your email you will need to confirm your email by clicking the confirmation link that will be sent to your email. After that, it means you have already registered and you can start trading for a demo, but to start trading live market you need to create real Deriv and DMT5 accounts, will start by showing you how to create a real Deriv account,

Now, this is step 2 from your Deriv demo account which you created on the first step, click the account switcher at the top right corner of your screen, the account switcher is an icon next to the virtual funds. 

Step 3, after clicking the account switcher you will find two tabs which are demo and real. Under the Real tab, click Add

Step 4, you will be redirected to the page where you can choose your currency and click Set currency, in this page, you can create both fiat and cryptocurrencies Deriv account. With fiat currencies, you can choose between   USD, EUR, GBP, or AUD whereas with cryptocurrencies  You can create one account for each cryptocurrency. This means you can have a BTC, ETH, LTC, and  USDT account at the same time. 

Step 5, You will be redirected to the page to complete your personal and address details.  You will only need to do this once even if you plan to open more than one currency account.  

Step 6, you will be redirected to the page where you can read, understand, and agree to Deriv’s terms of use. Then click Add account.

Step 7, At this point, if you created both fiat and crypto Deriv’s account you will have both accounts Once their checks are cleared, they’ll create your new account. This shouldn’t take more than a minute. And to start trading you will need to click deposit now to fund your account and start trading.

Step 8, If you need to add more Deriv accounts go to the account switcher,  select the Real tab, and click Add or manage account. Now at this point you already have real Deriv account. I will again show you how to create real Deriv metatrader 5 account (DMT5).

Step 1, From your Deriv account, click the account switcher at  the top right corner of your screen,

Step 2, After clicking the account switcher icon you will find two tabs which are the real and demo tab in this case slide to the real tab and choose the DMT5 account that you want and click  Add. Note: The Synthetic account is not available in  some countries.

Step 3, Create your password. You will use this to log in to the  DMT5 platform. Then click Add account.

Step 4, Congratulations! You’ve created your DMT5 account.  Click Transfer now, make a transfer from your real  Deriv account to your real DMT5 accounts and start trading.
